History of Christmas!!!

Christmas seems to be the first record in the years 320 to 353 linked to the celebration of the birth of Christ through Christian communities.

Before the Romans also held their celebrations on 17 to December 23, in a few days holidays on which the art of cooking had a significant role and December 25 was the pagan celebration of the exaltation of the Sun Although it is believed that Jesus was born more towards the spring - and about five years ahead of our time fixing counted.
But the early Christians chose the date to coincide with the pagan Sun holiday.
From the late fourth century, Christianity began to celebrate the tradition of Christmas on December 25.
Pope Julius I fixed the date of December 25, the day close to many of the winter solstice holiday celebrated in antiquity. It should be understood that it is the combination of inherited traditions and customs. The customs, myths and legends have been added after over the centuries from many different countries, up to the current celebration of Christmas.

ThanksGiving Day :D

Thanksgiving Day, known informally as "Turkey Day," is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving was a holiday to express thankfulness, gratitude, and appreciation to God, family and friends for which all have been blessed of material possessions and relationships. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. This holiday has since moved away from its religious roots.
In Canada, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the second Monday in October. In the United States, it falls on the fourth Thursday of November.
The precise historical origin of the holiday is disputed. Although Americans commonly believe that the first Thanksgiving happened in 1621 at Plymouth, Massachusetts, there is strong evidence for earlier celebrations in Canada (1578) and by Spanish explorers in Florida (1565).
Thanksgiving Day is also celebrated in Leiden, in the Netherlands. A different holiday which uses the same name is celebrated at a similar time of year in the island of Grenada.

MUST es un verbo 'modal'. Los verbos modales en inglés son verbos que se usan para expresar diferentes funciones como obligación, habilidad, opinión...etc. Se usan siempre con otros verbos.

IMPORTANTE:

Mustn´t no tiene el mismo significado que don´t have to.

Se usa don´t have to para referirse a cosas que no son necesarios. Sin embargo mustn´t significa que no debes hacer algo. ¡Está prohibido!

ejemplos: I don´t have to work tomorrow. (No tengo que trabajar mañana).
I mustn´t be late for work. (No debo llegar tarde al trabajo).

Recuerde que must es un verbo 'modal' y se usa con un verbo infinitivo SIN 'to'.

Para preguntas también se puede usar 'have to'. De hecho el uso de 'have to' en preguntas es mas común cuando estas hablando.
ejemplo: Must we travel to Barcelona tomorrow? ó Do we have to travel to Barcelona tomorrow? (¿Debemos/tenemos que viajar a Barcelona mañana?)

Se usa HAD TO para hablar del pasado.
ejemplo:
Present: We must leave at 5pm. (Debemos ir a las 5)
Pasado: We had to leave at 5pm (Debimos ir a las 5)

Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance man, a man whose unquenchable curiosity was equaled only by his powers of invention. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.According to art historian Helen Gardner, the scope and depth of his interests were without precedent and "his mind and personality seem to us superhuman, the man himself mysterious and remote".Marco Rosci points out, however, that while there is much speculation about Leonardo, his vision of the world is essentially logical rather than mysterious, and that the empirical methods he employed were unusual for his time.
